You’re probably wondering how I got here.

Is my story one filled with inspiration that will move you to your core?

No, but read on if you’re interested in learning about me anyway.

That’s me as a baby burlesquer. Wow. Look how stinkin’ cute.

I come from humble burlesque beginnings. My burlesque journey started in December, 2014 when I auditioned for the Brazen Booties Burlesque Variety Collective (then the Brazen Booties Troupe) on a whim. I found the audition notice online, and thought, “Hey, that sounds like fun, and I’m not doing anything that day, so why not.” I made it in the troupe, and my mom actually came to my first performance. There’s nothing like twirling tassels in front of your mom. Try it; I recommend it. Speaking of my mom, I actually started pole dancing because of her. She called me up one day and said we should try a pole dance class together. She thought it was extremely hard, but said I should keep at it. That was in 2012; look at me now. Joining the Booties in 2014 gave me an outlet to dance and perform around Los Angeles.

I did a lot with the Booties, including the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2015 and the Las Vegas Burlesque Festival that same year. In 2016, The Booties and I submitted a number I choreographed to the California Burlypicks, and we won Masters of Amazement! There was much crying to be had. The next day, someone at my retail job asked how the competition went, and I cried about it there too. Listen, I can get emotional, okay?

My first performance outside of the Brazen Booties was with the Hollywood Jane Revue, and since then, I’ve been booking shows nonstop. I have performed at The Minneapolis Burlesque Festival; at an “Impurity Ball” in Scottsdale, Arizona; and in 2018, I won the Master of Assels at the California Burlypicks. The Brazen Booties semi-retired just before the Covid-19 pandemic, but I have since joined the Burlesque & Chill and the Femme Domme Fatale troupes. I can’t sit still. It’s an issue.

So what’s next for me? I hope to resume aerial lyra soon so I can perform it. I started it in 2018, and even did a couple performances, but I haven’t touched a lyra since the lockdown in 2020. I also hope to perform at more festivals once Covid transmission levels are lower and once I have more money. Please wear a mask and give me money. Until then, I’ll be performing my special kind of “erotic poetry in motion” wherever I can.  I’ll be on a stage near you soon!
